The Conker Group are looking for a motivated and experienced producing/marketing assistant for their tour of Gutted later in the year (Oct-Nov 2018). A HOME Manchester co-production, the show has had a healthy life already, including two runs at HOME, attendance at festivals in London and Oxford, an Edinburgh fringe run and a Wellcome Trust funded tour of UK Hospitals. This three week tour will take the show to areas not yet visited and include theatre venues (York Theatre Royal, Lighthouse Poole, Theatr Clwyd Mold, Square Chapel Arts Halifax, Rosehill Whitehaven) and hospitals in Brighton, Margate, Exeter and Bristol.

Subject to discussion, the role will involve:
Managing all press and marketing queries from venues (note - marketing pack is completed, and marketing collateral is almost ready)
Leading on all press and PR (includes working closely with medical charity IA who support the show)
Leading on social media (Twitter, Facebook etc) including drafting of a strategy
Providing venues with required posters & flyers
Providing hospital liaisons with posters & flyers
Assisting the producer on tasks as and when they arise (to be discussed)

We are looking for someone with previous experience producing or working on a theatre tour, an interest in alternative models of engagement (our hospital touring is quite unique), knowledge and experience of using social media to reach target audiences and a strong attention to detail.
